RE: Stereo In General
Hi Al,
I appreciate your comments very much ! I too need a roof, paint for
the 3 season porch et al . . . oh well maybe next year they will get done after
I'm through tinkering with my 5kTQ. The kids can go barefoot this summer :-)
Seriously tho, it's easy to get caught up in the enthusiasm and excitement
of making our beloved Q's a lean machine. I've come to the harsh reality
that some of you out there in audi cyberland actually have way more time
and money than I do to spend poking a screwdriver at your car on a Saturday
afternoon. Drat !
No matter what, it's still fun anyway you look at it, kind of
like chasing girls in high school, thrill of the hunt. In the end, it doesn't really
matter if your car is the fastest or has the best stereo, what matters is that you
are happy with your car and all the tinkering/tweaking it takes to make it seem
just a little better. I guess that's called self-satisfaction. That's what its all about
isn't it ? The bonus is we get to throw some friendly b.s. at each other and have a
barrel of fun while actually learning something.
I'm getting off my soap box now, thanks for reading !
Until the next time,
