RE: Radar detector types?

I've got one of those Hallmark Holiday Specials, a Valentine One. I love it.
It performs as advertised, including my first exposure to Laser two days ago
by the Mass Strate Poopers. It also advertises direction and quantity of
radar, allowing me to ferret out the farging bastijes (while we're on the
movie thread, anybody remember Michael Keaton? or Dom DeLouise as the Pope?)
when they hide in the shadow of a Chez Ronald drive thru.
