Hi Joe,

I had a black metallic 1990 100, beautiful when clean, nasty when dirty,
of course i'm not telling you anything new. Black also has a tendency to
show the swirl marks more than others also, so here is my solution to
how I kept the car showroom like condition.

After washing and proper drying, I used a clear coat cleaner/scratch remover
called Clean Cut (blue stuff)(brand on bottle is EZ*1 ph 209-948-1133) I personally
swear by this stuff. I apply this with a waxmaster dual action buffer. Does a
great job and my arms aren't broke by lunch time ! 2nd step is to use Meguiars
#9 swirl remover with the buffer. 3rd is an optional step - depends on how much
time/energy I have - I may use either Zymol HD cleanse or Meguiars show glaze on
the entire car. 4th is to use Zymol - the appropriate formula for the color and make -
they make different formulas for dark and light cars.

I have found after spending almost a whole day on my car following this procedure,
the dirt doesn't seem to stick as long which makes washing a breeze. BTW there
are several good "soaps" to buy that don't strip your wax off.

I know all this sounds like a lot of work, but your car will shine like
a million bucks !
