Audi Coupe 20V allmost ready
After a lot of work in the last weeks my girlfriends new car
( 1989 Audi Coupe Quattro 20V , 170PS ) is ready to go.
With new Monroe gas shocks all around, new Sport Quattro
wishbone bushings , new oil , new airfilter , new sparkplugs ,
a complete allignment front and back and new Dunlop SP200 tires
, the car is ready to go. The following two things are a little
strange:
- the switch assembly for the rear window heating is totally burned
both sides of the connector are molten. This looks pretty much like
to much current load on the switch.
- the steering feels pretty loose in the center position , if you
turn the stering wheel and watch the tires at the same moment , you
can see the tires reacting instantly , but still during driving the
car is loose in the center position. The steering on my 200TQ reacts
much more precisely.
Any ideas anyone?
