Repost on Burning Oil and Bentley
DUE TO THE PROBLEMS WITH THE E-MAIL, I WASN'T SURE IF THESE GOT THROUGH
(EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE ON THE ARCHIVES, SO I'LL GIVE IT ANOTHER SHOT)
1. I have seen, from time to time, addresses of places that can get you
Bentley manuals. Has anyone ever considered getting the manual direct from
Bentley?
Audi Service Manuals
Robert Bentley, Inc.

Cambridge, MA 02138

Would it not be cheaper to order direct? Otherwise, a third party will
charge you the "middle man" fee (Oh, you really think they eat the S+H and
make no profit? (HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!)
2. I have about 95k on my '90 80Q. I had the oil changed about 1K ago, and I
checked it today and it seemed low. Is it normal for this to happen at
this many miles? I see no obvious signs of leakage or burning (in the
exhaust, etc.), so what's the deal? Any suggestions?
BTW, I drive about 400 miles a week, in traffic (stop and go) and all out
otherwise.
Thanks, as always
