Car # 581 was the last of the 'old' style control arms & bushings
Car #582 was the start of the 'new' style control arms & bushings

P/Ns
811 407 181 'BONDED RUBBER MOUNTING' up to 581    (Ur-Q front control arm bushing)
857 407 181 'BONDED RUBBER MOUNTING' 582 and on (Ur-Q front control arm bushing)

Maybe I should ask the list if the new style bushings will fit the earlier
cars.  The dealer says "No," but you know how reliable they are.

I don't know with what VIN they went to the newer style bushings, but you
can tell what type you have by looking at the control arm in your car.  The
old style has rubber sticking out of both sides on the control arm.  The
newer ones don't as they are in a metal sleeve.

If these new bushings definitely won't work in my '82 TQC but will in yours,
I'll be happy to sell them to you.
