clicking noise

Hello everyone. 

I have a 93 100S V6. I installed the K&N filter charger kit from 
Schaumberg Audi. It didn't make any dramatic change on the car, but I 
must say it sounds different now and the throttle response feels livelier 
in the mid-range...great for passing on the highways.

My problem is this. Part of the installation of the kit required removing 
a sensor from where the old airbox was and then reattaching it onto the 
new mounting kit. I've made sure that everything was screwed tightly and 
secure, and that the plug was in securely...the manual said that the car 
should never be started with it loose. Now I hear some sort of clicking 
noise from the sensor. The car runs fine, and it starts fine too. But you 
can hear a click, click, click from that sensor.

I was wondering if anyone has had this encounter before, or knows of the 
reason why this is happening.
