Mystery!

I put about three ounces of mystery oil in my gas this week two times (6 oz
total).

I have gone through about 1.5 tanks of gas. I have been averaging about 24-25
MPG in the past six months, and on my last 12 gallons I averaged 26.4 MPG. I
also changed my transmission and differential fluid to synthetic yesterday. I'm
sure this has had a small change also.

My car has 174K on it, I think the mileage is great! It is almost all highway
miles. The highest mileage I ever recorded was about 29.5 MPG three years ago,
however I use to consistently get 27-28 MPG highway.

Could be that mystery oil at work. I'm up in Maine right now, going back to
Connecticut tomorrow. Will check it again and post. Didn't bring any with me to
add to this tank.
