Re: Open Letter to QCUSA
Listers :
I am a member of QCUSA and a diehard lister (laptop dial-in while on vacation
to check in on our pending e-mail conversations).
I think it is everyone's intent to have great Quattro Track events. This list
has demonstrated a great desire by Audi Quattrophiles to share information,
fun, stories, support and conversation surrounding the cars we love. It just
seems a shame that the QCUSA id does not answer some of the questions via the
e-mail network which the Quattro List provides.
QCUSA, I realize that some post's sometimes receive less than glorious
responses or acclaim..... but in the end the benefit is the conversation
itself and the information gathered from it.
The "judge's" reference in the Spring issue of the Q-newsletter is a good
one. Please QCUSA answer a subset of the cost questions or any other
questions across this digest. So that members and non-members get a feel for
the goodwill of the QCUSA. If you are going to reference the list at least
use it periodically. Hey, don't just use the list to talk about the
price/cost issue, tell us about other good things too.
I am going to go to a QCUSA event this year and I really look forward to
being there. I also look forward to meeting some listers there as well. Both
groups have provided me with increased enjoyment of my Audi's. A Quattro
event at Mid-Ohio would be great QCUSA or not.
