	Dan, I respect your rules--made for the good of this list.  You 
are the reason we are able to have great interaction w/ other Audi lovers 
and, this is my final? post on the subject.  thanks

	Query to QCUSA:  HUH?

	Never before have I seen such solemn questions raised about the 
integrity of an organization and the best response the organization 
shirts can offer is oh, well, we will respond in private to our MEMBERS 
questions.  Listen, if the grapevine carries any truth, your days with 
members may well be limited.  

	As I recall, it was your people who made the claims--on this 
list--that, basically, no money is being made on these events that cost 
REAL money.  That is, no profit.  Well, I call.  Whadda ya got?

	This is easy stuff.  If you are a not for profit organization, me 
thinks you have to file a Form 990 with the IRS.  On form 990 [which, 
again, is open to the public for inspection] line 21 asks you to list the 
net assets or fund balances at end of year.  What was the number for 
1994?  1995?  More importantly, what exactly [travel expenses and 
associated costs would go here] were your expenses [line 17 for those 
following at home] for each of those years?  What was the revenue, line 12?

	Final question:  who the hell is running this show you ask me to 
join anyway?  Again, me thinks that if you really are interested in 
Audi-walk, not just Audi-talk, you gotta be a member of this list.  That 
means you have a computer, and a modem.  Tune in and type some answers.  
Best way to shut people up is to put up.  Like we say 'round here, we got 
the cash, you got the cards?
