RE:great roads GA/VT

The aforementioned Car Smarts has high praise for the Blue Ridge Parkway, but
they think it's best seen at 30 mph (30 mph and cup holders, what are these guys
thinking?).

One bright spring day two years ago I turned off the interstate in Tennessee and
made a 250 detour on the two lanes through Tennessee.  Talk about gorgeous,
rolling green hills, little traffic, lots of horse farms.  I even stopped in
Lynchburg to check out the Jack Daniels distillery.  Just like in the ads.
Perversely, it's in a dry county.  Water and lemonade is complimentary, as is
the tour.
