Cheap fix for the door striker pin

Hi Audi zealots,

Well, finally the spring semester is ended. Of course, during the summer
holiday, the best thing to do is fixing my little Audi(means sacrifice to
Audi gods).

FYI, yesterday, I found a cheap way to fix the hard-to-close doors on my
Audi while I was working on my car. Usually, the causes of the
hard-to-close doors are probably the: 1)unlube door lock & 2)worn or
broken plastic ring on the door striker pin. In my case, it was the worn
plastic ring on the strike pin. At first, I thought I have to bought a
whole new one for that. But, at last I figured out a way to fix this problem
by using a masking tape or duct tape to wrap a couple time around the
striker pin; after this simple repair, those doors on my Audi close so
softly that just like a new car, as do the sound.

Well, still a lot of things are waiting for me to fix. See ya.

Hope this won't bores you guys!
