Hello all:

    I am an A4Q owner and have 20,000 km on my A4Q.  I've noticed the same
thumping noise from the front end over irregular pavement.  The noise
sounded like rocking a metal can with something inside.  That noise has been
there ever since I got the car. I suspect the noise came from the new 4-link
supension and I've considered it normal and it doesn't bother me anymore.
However, I'll have it check out the next time that I am in the dealer for
service.  Aside from the noise, I don't notice anything wrong with the
supension or the car.  I've used the A4Q in autocross a few times and it
handled beautifully.
