Retirement

Hi Y'all,

Effective at approximately noon today (Saturday) I will be able to more
fully appreciate a quotation from a famous American.

"Free at last!  Free at last!  Thank God, Almighty, Free at last!"

My retirement officially begins on August 1, 1996, but the conclusion of
commencement at about noon today ends my formal work obligations for West
Virginia Tech.  

A couple of days will be required for me to get the last of my stuff out of
the office but that can be dome any time between now and August 1.  A fellow
can accumulate a lot of detritus in thirty years on one job.  

I keep the e-mail account.

Lift a cold one for me.  :-)
