Exhaust Manifold Problem

I'm new to the group since last night, I have a 86TQC and the exhaust
manifold seems to have a leak.

I have been reading the past issues of the digest for this group, but its a
lot to wade through.  So, I'm trying to shorten my resolution search process.

Question:

        Is it common to crack the exhaust manifold?

        Other than getting a OEM manifold, is there an alternative or
        aftermarket one that I should be looking into?
