Sorry about the alternator - probly brushes...
Anyway, I grew up there - next time try taking the dirt road down the back
side. One heck of a ride! Plus about 1/2 way down theres a cave for
spelunking if yer young and dumb.
About 2/3 way down the front side, just past the flat part, there's a great
decreasing radius curve where I rolled a Datsun 1600 roadster three times
w/no roll bar and 4 people in the car - no serious injuries, no seat
belts... My first of many indications that something was looking out for me
despite my best efforts...
Sabino Canyon is great, though not the fun it used to be when you could
still drive all the way up.
To the east is a great road that goes up to Seven Falls - go like yer going
to Sabino, only go straight instead of turning.
If yer of a mind to, stop by the corner of Kolb and Broadway - there's a
7-11 there across from the K-Mart. Tell Bryan Knoblich I said Hi! He's the
owner and we're old high school buddies (and we turn 40 this year).
