   Thank God most of these prollums were fixed by 85 (cept the crappy =
   french tail lamp assys). Upgrading the fuse panel to the 'modern' =
   blade-style fuses is a very popular upgrade for the VW crowd, perhaps =
   there is a viable upgrade path to the 85-style ur-q fuse and relay =
   setup.....

I don't suppose that the "modern" fuse box just "plugs in" to the older
wiring harness (and physical mount points) . . . nah, that would make it
way too easy . . .
