front strut

I guess the Audi Gods realized that I've been off the list since the last
time the list went down.  As a consequence, while driving home tonight my
front strut decided to self destruct on a rough patch of Los Angeles freeway.
 The front end of the car was bouncing around like crazy.  When I got home I
looked under the car and the shock had spewed all its juices, the bump stop
was broken into two pieces and the dust boot ripped down the side.  Hmm guess
I need to fix this.  Can someone tell me where I should get the shocks and
struts from (ie who has the cheapest Boges?) and where can I get the special
tool to remove the strut?
