RE: Audi V8 brakes.



It used to be - back in 91/92, I think - that Audi would retrofit the
regular 200 brakes to V8s and 200 wagons that had the dreaded UFO brakes
(internal caliper brakes). The upgrade (or whatever Audi called it)
consisted of most of the front suspension bits and of course the pads
and rotors. Audi realized that this was extremely expensive and stepped
it down to using remanufactured rotors which are still s*** expensive.
