     I've had varying degrees of success with copper tubing. "K"
     tubing is the flexible stuff, and can be had all the way 
     up to 1" diameter. You'll have to flare it yourself, but
     that's no big deal with a flaring tool. Plus the stuff
     is so maleable that you usually don't need the bending 
     tool unless the angles are sharp or close to each other.

     I've used copper tubing for numerous applications, fuel
     lines, PS lines, tranny coolers, and on one occasion 
     a friend and I used copper drain pipe to make the compete
     exhaust for an old Triumph TR2. (Heated it filled with sand
     and pounded it into the right shape.)

     You'd have to solder or Map the tubing to the existant 
     banjo fittings for most Euro applications...never tried
     this, don't know if it's possible.
