Re: Rough Starting 5KS
I think it's the sensor called the thermotime switch that is going bad
located at the back of the engine block i.e. the end facing the firewall.
I had the same problem with the 85' 5000s that I used to own and I got it
replace and the problem was fixed. I think it if I remember correctly from what my
mechanic told me this switch control the cold-start valve.
