Hi, Mike... I've been waiting for my A4Q, and it's finally
close to home! It will be waiting for me when I return
from vacation on June 10th. Can't wait!

I'm sure you're aware that a possible alternative is to use an
off-the-shelf changer with an RF modulator. I don't personally
consider this a viable option, as the sound will suffer a bit
and you'll need to wire a separate control for the changer. But
some may not consider these to be serious negatives.

There is currently no other option that I'm aware of. A
company that manufactures adapters, Peripheral Interface
Electronics, is currently working on an adapter... it is active,
rather than just a wiring change. At last report, they expected
to be shipping by July. I believe the cost will be around
$100... the Alpine changers are available for around $350-$400,
I think.

Great idea. Count me in.

Wow. You'll probably have a one-of-a-kind car in
North America!
