5000sq Seats....

Now that I have adequately lurked about for a while, I have a question that doesnt involve 
qcusa!! 
I have to leave my beloved MG autoxer behind as I move to Texas. So, my 1988 5000s quattro will 
become the thrasher of choice.
I need (want) to install a harness, and use the stock seatbelt bolt locations. The bolt on my 
left is simple to remove, but the bolt under my seat seems unreachable unless the seat is 
removed. 
I have looked at removing the seat, but didnt get too far. Since it is a motorized unit, is it 
still 'straight out the back'? Or is there more to it. 
If any of you have removed your seat... drop me a note. (sounds loopie, doesnt it?)

BTW, I think Scott Goodyear did some driving for Group 44 in 1988, but didnt ever compete. He was 
running the Atlantic series at the time. And dont forget Walter Rohrl!
