If the switch has a yellow triangle lamp, then this is for the rear
fog lamps.  Front fog light switches have a green triangle and the
rear window heater also has a yellow triangle.

Are you expecting this switch to work front fog lamps ?

You can prise the top off and replace the bulb inside.
