Re: Bad vibes

I experienced the same "cold, wet, & vibrating" scenario in my 5KCSTQ. It
occurred as I was accelerating normally up to speed after pulling out of
work. It seemed to go away as my speed rose to about 45 and was gone after
that. It was very obvious and has happened only one other time, although it
was barely noticeable the second time.

I have Continental CH51 195-65-15 tires (SINNNNNGin' down the road) which are
not new but have lots of tread left (will these things ever wear out so I can
say I NEED new ones??) Before I bought the car the subframe bushings were
replaced as well as one front strut and at least 3 sets of rotors and pads
and the steering rack was rebuilt or resealed or something.

I have basically blown it off figuring I would encounter the same obvious
stabs in the dark followed by head-scratching indifference and disbelief if I
took it in to try to get it fixed. I have done nothing about it and haven't
experienced it recently. I just thought I'd throw in my $.02 worth since my
car's a different model.
