It seems everyone's attentions are turning at least in part to seats, so...

I have always felt that my seat is too high.  I have adjusted it to the
lowest point using the electric mechanism and my head still touches the roof
on occasion and the sun visor is only useful when the sun is directly on the
horizon, otherwise I have to duck to see traffic signals. 

Anyway, I was wondering if there is some sort of mechanical positioning
method which adjusts the whole seat, frame and all, so as to shift the
effective operating range of the electric adjusting mechanism.

Good one, huh?  I'm thinking maybe someone really short owned the car before
and jacked up the whole seat.
