Yep, if you are tall you have a problem, I hate taking trips in a 200q because
the sunroof cuts down on the head room.  Lets see I know of a couple of people
who have special ordered a car with out the sunroof.

BTW, you have Mike Valentine to thank for that option being available.  But he
had to pull strings to make it happen, like getting ahold of the Piech family
and having them request one be built that way.  So now it has become an option,
great.

Oh the worst car for head room:(IMHO)

Honda Civic Del Sol:  My whole head sticks above the targa bar, with the seat
all the way down.  Can anyone say decapitation, not some thing I want to
experience. |-<

Best car with a sun roof: (IMHO)
BMW 3 series, the sun roof fits between the roof rails, so there is no
difference with a sun roof or without.  Have not looked at an A4.

The only solution to the problem is install a different seat.  OR take yours to
an upholster and have them cut the lower cushion down and recover the seat.  My
914 I take the lower cushion out of the seat when I need to run with a helmet
on, other wise at the end of the day the cushion goes back in for the ride home.
Nice compromise for me.
