I'm finaly catching up on my reading, I'm only 42 digests behind!

But I'm buying Mahle Oil Filters ( OC-85)  for my 87 CSTQ, they are German
made and have the spring loaded check valve. I do not recall the exact price
but $5-$6 sounds right.

Source is IMPEX 1-800-736-3550.  I've posted them before. Prices are always
better when you buy in quantity.
