perhaps you can substantiate or rebuff the following rumor:

i was told that audi had 3 different states of tune of the 5 banger.
they won the championship using the least powerful of the 3 engines.
even if the SCCA had slapped even harder sanctions they were ready to
make up for it.

didn't those pikes peak engines make something like 800+ bhp?
