Hi all,
	I just found out that the rumbling that I asked about earlier was 
due to my strut tower caps not being torqued down to spec. Dealer 
tightened them and voila...no more noise and a bit more precise steering. 
So anyone noticing the knocking sound over rough pavement-that's probably 
it. Thanks for all your input. The next project is to get the alarm to 
work properly. Currently it will only go off if the thief is obliging 
enough to enter through the driver's side door.
