Be careful when using the computer readout for MPG's... they are not 
always (or often?) reliable, e.g. our '86 5kS reads ~50% high... "gee, 
we're git'n 42 miles per gallon!!  Must be runnin' a bit lean!"  Figure 
your mileage the old-fashioned way - miles driven / gallons used - over 
three tanks or so, and see if maybe your actual MPG's aren't better than 
the 13-14 the comp. reports.

BTW, is there any way to calibrate the computer so that it reads 
something close to reality?
