This is all from memory, so there may be some errors...

The GT designation was added for MY 1984, when the manual transmission
gear ratios are shortened and a throatier exhaust added.

Yes, the new-style dashboard and console was introduced MY 1985,
just like the 4000.

1981-1984:	2.1L	100hp
1985-1987:	2.2L	110hp
some 1987:	2.3L	130hp

This is probably true, as the 4000Q have all been 115hp.

Hydraulic as of MY 1984.

> - fuse box style?

1981-1982:	underdash, early-style ceramic fuses.
1983-1987:	underhood in plenum area, blade-style fuses.

1981-1983:	14x6 alloy complex design with oblong holes
1984-1987:	14x6 alloy Ronal R8

Earlier coupes have removable sunroof that stores in the trunk
(if so equipped), latter cars have tilt/slide. I think the
switchover MY is 1984, but not sure.

Hope this helps.
