Fair price for 1993 90CS V-6 sedan

Dear Troops,

Sent this once but think the mail server trashed it.  

Question:  A friend has been offered a non-quattro 1993 90CS non-quattro, 5
on the floor  (one owner who is the seller) with 70k miles on it for
$12,500.  Reputed to be in "great shape."  Fair price??  And how much more
would this beast be worth if it was a quattro.  We're located in  VT.  Car
has come from NYC (ding and pothole capital of the world).  Please respond
