200tq woes continued and Watkins Glen info

Thanks a bunch to Ernest, Albert, Bob, and Mike for the leads to parts. I
called the place in MA for the oil hose. Cost: $200. Linda in CA: $188. When I
informed my mechanic, he wasn't very happy about it. Seems he has this long
running relationship with his supplier in DC. So, instead of angering him I
told him to go ahead and work with part he ordered.. whenever it #(%&# arrives!
Find out this afternoon that the part may not come in today, or tommorow and
may in fact arrive on Monday! Since Tim isn't open on Monday, that means that
the Q won't be fixed until Tuesday.
I could make the arguement that it's my car and $50 is alot money. BUT..
it's hard to find a good shop so.. I think I made the best decision. Oh.. Bob,
Linda remembered you and laughed. Thanks alot guys.. I know where to get parts
in the future. :)

Okay, Ernest. I've noticed that you're at Cornell. Good school. Funny thing
about Watkins Glen. My house, where I grew up and my folks still reside, is on
the same hill as the racetrack! I would usually visit Ithaca a few times a week
when I lived at home. Stay away from Garage Defrance by the way, which I'm sure
you knew, they are extremely dishonest. For all those going to the Glen, if
anybody needs info about attractions or stuff to do besides the Q party, let me
know. I also know of a really good shop for Audi's in the area. His shop is in
Corning NY, but it's only about 20 minutes from the glen following rt.414. Fran
Luckners Shop. He knows his cars and *loves* Audis. Sorry about the somewhat
non-audi post. It kind of relates though. Hopefully, I'll get down there.
