I can't state this with much certainty, but it was my understanding that
all 5000CS designated cars were turbocharged.  There is some differentiation
in interior appointments as well.  My brother-in-law has a 1988 5000 (5000S?)
wagon ... non-turbo, non-quattro and manual tranny.  We have a 1988 5000CS 
quattro wagon, which has the leather interior and a turbocharged motor ...
