4kQ PAint

I have some paint work that needs to be done on my 4KQ.

I plan on spending good $$ on a REAL paint job eventually, but I have some
spots that may need more immediate attention...

There is a spot on the hood about the size of a basketball where the paint
has removed completely. The hood was painted over when I bough the car
(just that spot) and during the winter - the paint rose and cracked becaus
it was so cold and the engine was so hot.. THUS, a spot was incurred.

The spot is grey metal - no rust. There are other tiny littled ;touch-up'
type spots.

I'd like to paint these spots before they begin to even think about rusting.
I don't have any information on the exact colour, or what brand of touch-up
paint to use..

I think the colour is 'tornado' red.. but i just don't know.

If anyone could recommend the type of paint -- and the procedure to touch up
these spots - i sure would appreciate it.. Or should I just WAIT and get it
done professionally. MAACO has a deal for $399 - but i'm not sure how
'professional' they are.

I am more interested in handling and performance than looks - but I want the
car to look pretty damn good~

Thanx in advance!
