The Platin/ums by definition have a better heat range than a conventional
copper or "silver" plug.... Been using them for some time (I was eating the
WR7DP's every 7k - got 15 on these already - no regap)..... quite happy....
They are trick for the "hot" running 5ktq's, but expensive.... you can run
hotter if you want, but the upshot of the posts is that the single electrode
copper plugs are prolly a good second choice.... Hard to find them in a less
than 7 heat range tho..... A motorcycle shop might have an app for you....
Or try the BMW dealer.....
