Re: Platin/ums, and acceptable color thereof
Talking about plugs, I took the ones on my '85 5KT out yesterday
looking for a solution to my month-old rough idle/low-rpm
stumbling problem. They're Bosch Platinums, and about 25,000 miles
old. Plugs 1 through 4 all have a white coating on them, but
plug 5 is grayish. No trace of oil, and they look fine other
than this coating.
Can I infer anything from the color of the electrodes? Is there
a "normal" color?

PS: The rough idle/stumbling remains, despite yet another ISV
cleaning.
