205/50-15 TIRES ON 90Q?

Hello,

I have a 1990 90Q and I would like to put 205/50-15 tires on for the
summer
in place of the 175/75-14 tires that I currently have.  The only
aftermarket
wheels that I can find have an offset of 37mm.  The factory offset is
45mm.
 I checked with my local Audi dealer and the 15" factory wheels for the
90Q
also are 45mm offset.  I am not sure that 37mm offset wheels with
205/50-15
tires will fit without rubbing or hitting the inner fender.

I did some measurements, and it seems that the 205 size tires should
fit,
but I was wondering if any other 90 Quattro owners have actually made
the
changed to 205 tires and whether the change works with 37mm offset
wheels. 
The wheels are $300 each and none refundable, so I want to be sure that
they
will fit before I buy them.
