200t dash lights

          Hello to all,

          Im new to the list and have already learn quite a few tips
          to make life with my Audi a lot easier.. *Hoping the Audi
          Gods arent listening*.  Im no stranger to Audi's, come
          from an Audi family.. Me 87 4ks, brother 86 GT and 87 5ks,
          and Pops 89 200t.
            Now on to the problem.  My father's 200t has a problem
          with the dash light dimming when you turn on the lights.
          They appear to go completely out when you switch the the
          headlights on, but on closer imspection they are still on
          but dimmed WAY too low, can only tell this in extreme
          darkness.  It affects the whole dashboard, radio, and
          buttons on middle of dash, with the exception of the
          Anti-lock break switch.  If any body knows whats going on
          here.. please help out..
