Koni parts
Got a question,
First off. Anybody going to Lime Rock friday night to see the One Lap S6s? I
expect to go.
Now, a while back I had Konis put in the front of my 5ktq. They also did the
wheel bearings.
The Konis came with a few extra parts and of course no instructions. I got two
white plastic washer type thingos and two steel rings. The rings were the OD of
the Konis. A spacer maybe? Whatever, garage did the work and all is OK. I
guess.
I've been looking for the source of a kind of loose feel in the front end. I've
got the wiz bang get your strut out fast tool so it is easy to go in there and
see if the parts are in correctly if at all.
I "guess" the steel ring fits in the top after the Koni slips down the tube.
Plastic washer?
Any experience here?
By the way, the Konis can be adjusted in the car. Take off the top rubber mount
and push the Koni down into the tube. Adjust and pull it back up. No need to
pull the Koni out. Takes minutes. Too bad about the rears though.
