Thanks everyone. It seems that fixing the flaky LCD won't be difficult at all.
If guru Bob would kindly give me explicit instructions on how to remove the IC
unit.. etc, I would appreciate it. I haven't worked on the Q before and my
knowledge of Automobile mechanics is limited to brakes, tune-ups, replacing a
stereo (4 times), and other minor stuff. I don't think it's going to be
difficult, but I really don't know where to start. It would probably help if I
had a Bentley or a Haynes for the Q, but I don't. Thanks guys!
