Sometimes the fuse boxes have a habit of burning out internally but they are
a sealed unit. It can cause High load components I.E air con,cooling fans etc
to work intermittently. Check for any signs of melting etc but it's sometimes
hard to diagnose except by replacing so everything else should be discounted
first cuase they aint cheap.
