new tires for q wagon

Hi. New subscriber here.

The time has come to purchase new tires for my 1993 100CS quattro wagon (55K
miles). I'm not especially enamored of the original equipment Goodyear Eagle
GAs and am seeking a little advice on quality alternatives. The GAs seem
biased heavily toward ride, which is pleasant enough. I'm not looking to
carve up the turns on a regular basis, but a little more grip would be
welcome. (OE size: 195/65/15)

Have been considering D60/A2s. I should point out that I'm willing to
compromise a little aggressiveness for all-season capability. I realize I
should probably get 4 Blizzaks come winter, but my budget--and my
wife--question the logic.
