I had the same experience, but the dust subsided after
a couple of thousand miles.  I guess it's just part of
the normal break-in of these pads.  I wound up cleaning
the wheels a lot (good thing the wheel is a simple design
and easy to clean!).

This is in great contrast to the Repco Metalmaster pads on
my 4000, which generates very little dust...
