Anyone help on this? '86 4KCSQ

The flanges on my cat. conv. are badly rusted and burned. The ceramic looks
fine- but flanges won't seal anymore. Anyone tried welding new flanges on?
If that fails, anyone know where to get the lowest price on a new one?  Best
$ I have is $235- anyone know where to beat that?

Have to get this thing together. Postponed new start date for job at Los
Alamos once already because of a broken fuel line! Don't want to blow the
next start date.
