I believe the Canadian odometers are "Euro-spec" as mine (1986 4k) is 
only in km. Makes it hell to drive in the states as I don't really have a 
clue what a mile is. Anyhow, I have just over 130,000km on my odo. right 
now, and I've never had a problem with it or the trip meter.
