Hey Q-listers,

Anyone here able to provide this gentleman with more info?
I'm afraid I know nothing of this stuff. ;)

Darin,

I'm not supprised that you don't know the Iltis, it is a military jeep-like
vehicle. Here is an image of one if you are curious:

Anyway, I am looking for information on the Iltis, and while suring the net I
came across the following tidbit in an article about the Quattro and how the
AWD came about:

Developed in Ingolstadt by Audi, the Iltis had the same basic four
cylinder transaxle and engine as the Audi 80 of the time.

Now, it seems this took place before 1977 in Finland. I would like to find
out what engine the above quote is describing. Mainly, a rough idea of
size, horsepower, torque etc. Imperial or metric, dosen't matter.

TIA,
        Sean MacLennan
