I think it was in EC, maybe Excellence.  They did a story on doing a timing belt
on the 944s.  They mention a very special must gota have tool that wasn't cheap
to set the tension.

All very involved.  At the end they have a 944 specialist talking about the 944
and 944T.  He goes on at great length how often they need belts and water pumps.
The apparently go through them at a crazy rate.  I know I've seen ads in
Imparts? about "get our new pump, no more OEM" etc.  HE also says it is cheaper
to own a 911 Turbo (930) than a 944 turbo.  Hard to believe.

As if an Audi were cheap.
