Perfomance upgrades for 89 90 Q

Hi all,
	I'm new to the list and to an 89 90Q.  I'm sure the following questions have been asked over and 
over again.  But since I AM new......just wondering what are the options for performance upgrades for a 
90Q.  It is a 5 cylinder car so I'm wondering if it was even feasible to upgrade it to the turbo engine.  
If not then what else can be done.  Thanx for any help forthcoming.  Pls email me directly so as not to
